Here we highlight a Charlotte couple who called on JAG Construction needing help with their treeless backyard as shown below. The NC sun and heat was making their yard too hot to sit out and enjoy their nicely landscaped yard. They did not want a fully enclosed structure like a New Porch so John Crowley at JAG Construction suggested one of their pergolas, so some light would come through but not completely block the sky and sunlight.
JAG installed a beautiful 13’ x 35’ white maintenance free aluminum pergola covering the entire paver patio and grilling area. This is not any old aluminum pergola. Check out the chunky fluted columns, nice column base skirts, chunky crown molding detail on top of each column. We created a double header with scrolled ends and matching rafters to give it a much nicer look than any traditional commercial-looking aluminum pergola.
